The Fishing Shack and Ponds
We have 2 fishing ponds here at the farm. Sitting on the edge of the largest pond is the fishing shack. Designed and built by The Shack Company, the beautiful timber hut is the perfect place to spend an afternoon fishing. The pond is stocked with roach and grass carp. The carp weigh up to 8lb and are not easy to catch so offer some sport!
Fish from the bank, the deck, the jetty or even the small boat (skiff). The shack is very comfortable inside with a woodburning stove and a large comfortable sofa. You can prepare tea or coffee on the small gas stove and stay toasty warm by the fire even on the coolest of evenings.
The shack can be used, by arrangement, for evening meals and small group events. Private fishing days can be arranged and BBQ facilities provided when needed. Contact us with your requirements.
