The Animals

 

We are not a commercial farm but produce our own meat and vegetables for consumption by ourselves, family, friends & guests.

 

We have 2 Dexter cows (due to calf in July 2009), a Large White boar and a Gloucester/Tamworth cross sow. Their piglets arrived in June 2009. The Guernsey Gold goats also produced kids in June 2009. Various breeds of chicken run free range around the farm along with a few geese and many wild duck.

 

Our small flock of Suffolk/Southdown sheep will be increased in 2010 with a flock of purebred Southdown.
